RECIPE – Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls
hi friends, these are nummy num num!!
1 head Cabbage
1 can White Beans drained and washed
1 cup rice cooked
1 12oz can Tomato Sauce
1 6oz can Tomato Paste
2 Onions finely chopped
Paprika
Garlic
Salt + Pepper
Boil water and blanch cabbage leaves for 5min in water, place in colander wash with ice cold water. Meanwhile simmer tomato paste, sauce, 1 onion, paprika, and garlic. Mash beans with salt, pepper and paprika, add onions and rice and mix. Once cabbage is cooled place a spoonful of filling in the leaf, roll and tuck in the sides, place in an oiled pan seam down. Pour sauce over the cabbage rolls and seal tightly. Bake at 350F for 60-75 minutes.
